Moms Empire
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Moms Empire collects, how we use it, and the choices you have when you trust us with sensitive phase, wellness, pregnancy, postpartum, and baby-care information.
Last updated: June 12, 2026
1. Introduction
Moms Empire is a phase-aware wellness companion for cycle tracking, trying to conceive, pregnancy, and Mom mode. This Privacy Policy covers the public website, authenticated web app, trackers, knowledge feed, AI chat, onboarding, and profile features.
We treat health-related information as sensitive even when privacy law does not technically classify it that way. Our product is designed to personalize support while collecting only what is needed to provide the service.
2. Information we collect
We collect authentication information when you sign in with Google, including your email address and the account identifiers needed to maintain your session. We may also store profile details you choose to provide, such as preferred name, current phase, due date, baby date of birth, goals, conditions, preferences, and onboarding answers.
If you use trackers, we store the entries you create, such as mood, symptoms, cycle data, sleep, diet, hydration, appointments, pregnancy milestones, feeding, diapers, pumping, baby sleep, and recovery logs. If you use AI chat, we store your messages, assistant responses, and a limited snapshot of context used to personalize the answer.
We also collect basic device and operational data, such as browser, device type, timezone, session state, and security logs. We do not use advertising trackers.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to run the app, personalize your dashboard, show phase-appropriate trackers, tailor educational content, generate AI guidance, preserve your progress, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure.
AI context is intentionally limited. For example, the AI may receive your phase, goals, condition labels, and recent log summaries, but it should not receive mental health screening scores, journal notes, email address, phone number, or full identifying profile details.
You can optionally connect your own AI provider key (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google). If you do, we store that key encrypted at rest using authenticated encryption and use it only to route your AI requests to that provider. When you use your own key, your prompts and the limited context above are processed by that provider under their privacy terms. If you do not connect a key, AI requests use our default provider. You can remove your key at any time in settings.
4. What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your health data with employers, insurers, data brokers, or partners by default. Partner sharing, if ever added, will be off by default and controlled by you.
We do not intentionally put personally identifying health details in analytics events, product logs, or error reports.
5. How we protect your data
Moms Empire uses Supabase-backed Postgres with Row Level Security so users can only access their own rows. Data is encrypted in transit and protected by the hosting and database providers' encryption-at-rest controls.
We separate user-specific records by authenticated user ID, keep service-role access limited to server-side code paths, and avoid logging PII from health forms, AI context, and screening flows.
6. Your rights
You can request access to your information, ask for correction, export your data, delete your account, or ask us to stop processing optional information where legally required. Account deletion is designed to cascade through your profile, goals, tracker entries, AI messages, and related records.
To make a privacy request, contact [email protected].
7. Children
Moms Empire is intended for users age 13 and older. Users under 16 should use the service only with parental or guardian consent where required. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. Health information
Moms Empire is not currently a HIPAA covered entity or business associate. That means information you provide to us may not be protected by HIPAA in the same way information held by your clinician, hospital, insurer, or pharmacy may be.
Even when HIPAA does not apply, we treat health-related data as sensitive and apply product, database, and operational safeguards designed for a high-trust wellness product.
9. Mental health screening data
Mental health screening responses and scores are sensitive. We store them in the database for your account experience and future screening history, but we do not send numeric screening scores to product analytics, PostHog, Sentry, or similar event streams.
The AI may receive a high-level safety flag only when useful and appropriate, such as “baseline anxiety elevated,” rather than raw answer text or score values.
10. International transfers
Moms Empire and our infrastructure providers may process data in the United States. If you access the service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. For EU, UK, or similar jurisdictions, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
11. Cookies
We use functional cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect sessions, and operate the app. We do not use advertising cookies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Moms Empire changes. If changes are material, we will provide notice in the product or ask you to review the updated policy before continuing. We track policy versions so the app can re-prompt when needed.
